An advanced model of a wearable item had to be produced using only scrap materials for this project. The Timeless Pocket Watch is a prototype constructed using only cardboard, aluminium foil, wire, and acrylic with a drawn-on analogue watch face. The aluminium casing makes the pocket watch durable and lightweight, and the minimalistic watch face is protected from surface damage by a clear acrylic cover. The wire chain has a fastening clip designed to clip onto a pocket or belt buckle so that the pocket watch sits at an ergonomically comfortable height. The contrast between industrial aluminium and colourful cardboard combined with a focus on minimalism creates a timeless aesthetic.
